16338  1:16 Generic WW2 German Star Antenna

Notoriously hard to model the Star antenna is a feature of many vehicles and usually a standard feature of command tanks. The challenge was to replicate the delicate nature of the real antenna whilst eliminating some of the fragility and avoiding any demanding assembly. By 3D printing it as one piece with minimal print supports we have met that challenge. The resin we are using gives a bit of spring to it so the antenna legs will flex if you accidentally catch them and return to position although certainly they will snap if too much force is applied! We recommend removing the protective cage first then the central print supports before the individual supports at the tip of each arm. We have tried to ensure a hollow tube where the antenna mounts on top of the normal rod antenna but this may not always replicate correctly so it may be necessary to drill this out to fit your choice of rod antenna (not supplied).
