This 3D printed Breech corrects various areas of dimension and detail with the kit breech and as it is printed in one piece it avoids the problems of filling and sanding the gaps in the kit multi-part breech. We have also added the serial number on the face of the breech and the ‘safe and fire’ settings on the breech block. The block is a separate part to make painting easier and the block lever is also a separate part. The kit solid turned aluminium barrel has a shallow drilled out muzzle with crude rifling effect and weighs in at 140 grams. We have therefore designed a new fully hollow replacement barrel which reduces the weight to just 42 grams and more importantly has accurate muzzle thickness and rifling. Printed in two parts which slide fit together  and with print supports that can easily be removed by twisting the base around the barrel’s axis.
