'Duel in the Mist' is the first volume in a series of books examining in detail the involvement of the 1st. SS Panzer Division 'Leibstandarte' in the Ardennes offensive, and focuses on Kampfgruppe Peiper's drive into American lines and ultimate reversal in the face of stiff resistance outside the village of Stourmont on the 19th of December 1944.
The book is presented on 170gsm paper in landscape format (275mm x 210mm), 294 pages with 127 photgraphs, 9maps and with colour vehicle profiles illustrating the various Panther factory applied camouflage schemes.
